You look wonderful tonight
Standing here in the moonlight
Holding your hands lifts me to heights
and i'm elated by your smile, so bright

If formal education is my right
and meant to teach me read and write
Why then is its demand a fight
that i face such a plight?
The schools are out of sight
and everyone else is quiet
But i'll fight for one with all my might
Though my mother has but a widow's mite
and i eat but a lowly diet
And when glory seem to be in sight
It is one verse i shall recite
Which is, 'Oh Everest, where is thy height?'
